NJ Amusements Are Hiring… What Does This Mean For Arcades And Rides
Today we have been seeing some subtle hints that a big announcement is coming to New Jersey.
After New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy announced that indoor dining can resume starting on July 2nd, we saw many amusement companies from Seaside heights to Wildwood announce job opportunities.

Here in Wildwood two amusement companies, Gateway 26 and Morey’s Piers sent out newsletters letting people know that they are now hiring for the 2020 summer season.
According to Morey’s Piers press release, they are hiring 500 seasonal staff positions while Gateway 26 announced many immediate positions. Also seaside heights’ Casino Pier posted jobs late last week as well.
So what does this mean?
For the most part this is all speculation but from the looks of it we might be getting an announcement on when rides and arcades can open for the summer. Why else would all these companies be hiring for the summer? Think about it.
Obviously there will be no way of knowing until Governor Murphy makes an announcement but we are beyond excited to see the rides and arcades open again.
