Presidents’ Day Weekend Opening Businesses – The Wildwoods Even though the Punxsutawney Phil said that we still have six more weeks of winter, we are counting down until summer 2022. Currently, the Wildwoods are still in our off-season but things are starting to open up. If you are planning to come to the Wildwoods for Presidents’ Day Weekend, let’s catch you up on what is open. This weekend we are having two BIG openings that really scream “SUMMER!” The unofficial start of Spring is when Sam’s Pizza Palace, located at 26th and the Boardwalk, opens for the summer. This is their 66th season on the Wildwood boardwalk! This Friday at 10:30 am, Sam’s Pizza will be opening the big roll-down door and letting the perfect smell of their pizza back into our lives. From this weekend on out, Sam’s Pizza will be open Friday and Saturdays from 10:30 am – 7 pm and Sundays 10:30 am – 5 pm. This will be their normal schedule until things get closer to summer. The next BIG opening this weekend is Cool Scoops Ice Cream Parlor located at 1111 New Jersey Ave in North Wildwood. Cool Scoops is always the first, off the boardwalk, a sign that Spring is on its way! They will be open on Friday, February 18th at 6 pm and will be open until 10:30 pm. So be sure to stop by Sam’s for your pizza and grab a cone on your way out! As a reminder there are plenty of other seasonal businesses now open plus all the great year-round places) On the boardwalk, you can stop by Gateway 26 or the Fudge Kitchen. Off the boardwalk visit Laura’s Fudge, Bagel Time Cafe, and Maggie’s Boutique Morey’s Piers is not yet open for the season. To find out their hours be sure to click HERE.
