Hey folks! There’s a new way to get around on the hot Wildwood beach this summer! Let me introduce you to the BeachBoard.
Created here in Wildwood, the BeachBoard is like an electric skateboard-scooter-Segway that has big wheels to help you get through the sand.
Just like in surfing you position your feet in a way that you can keep balance. When you want to move you just lean in the direction of where you want to go and it starts to go.
On a single charge the BeachBoards can run up to a maximum of three days before needing to be charged again. And for those wonder on speed, these bad boys can go up to 20 miles per hour.
Currently the Wildwood Beach Patrol is in pilot program to test the features of the BeachBoards which means they currently can only be found in Wildwood. In time they will be a great ride around the world.
