Jimbo’s Family Restaurant SOLD

We have some sad news for everyone. Jimbo’s Family Restaurant, located at 2410 Atlantic Ave in North Wildwood, was sold last week at the price of $1,040,000.

According to the Cape May County Herald’s Property Transfer Records, the two lots, 2400-2410 Atlantic Ave was sold from 2400 Atlantic Holding LLC to Thomas O’Hara.

I know many of you are going to saw that “oh no condos” but wait one minute.

For those who do not know, Thomas O’Hara, is the owner of Uncle Bill’s Pancake House here in Wildwood at 4601 Pacific Ave.

With this sale it is with our hope that Jimbo’s Family Restaurant could become a NEW Uncle Bill’s Pancake House.

Currently there are eight Uncle Bill’s Pancake Houses from Cape May to Ocean City but they are not part of one company. Each of them is owned by one member of the O’Hara family.

The chains started in 1962 with Debbie Donohue taking over her parent’s Uncle Bill’s in Stone Harbor.

For more information on the sale of Jimbo’s tune back in later.
