The Ravioli House is Expanding!
The Ravioli House in Wildwood, NJ, stands as a cherished culinary landmark, enticing locals and tourists alike with its rich Italian heritage and delectable offerings.
Located at 102 E Bennett Ave, this family-owned establishment has been serving up authentic Italian cuisine since its inception in 1970.
Stepping into Ravioli House is akin to entering a cozy trattoria in the heart of Italy. The warm ambiance, adorned with rustic décor and the aroma of simmering sauces, immediately transports diners to a place of comfort and culinary delight.
From the friendly greetings of the staff to the meticulously crafted dishes, every aspect exudes a commitment to excellence.
That excellence and elegance will be expanding this year as they make their outdoor patio area into a more permanent structure.
During the covid-19 pandemic, restaurants were forced to offer take-out only or figure out a way to do outdoor dining.
The Ravioli House took outdoor dining to a new level after they used the land next to their restaurant to create a fine dining experience during the ‘masked days.’
It is this area where this new permanent structure will be located.
The upcoming seating area will evoke a greenhouse atmosphere, featuring floor-to-ceiling glass windows reminiscent of a three-season room, with the added functionality of opening windows. Alongside the addition of a new bar, the space will retain its gaming amenities and offer an impressive lineup of entertainment options.
Now that the project has been approved by the planning and zoning board, construction will start shortly and be finished by the first week of May at the latest.

According to the family, this outdoor section has been a dream of Teresa’s since 2007. Teresa has been the owner and operator of The Ravioli House since they opened their doors 54 years ago.
In 1970, Teresa and Antonio DeSanctis fulfilled their dream by opening Ravioli House, crafting pasta by hand using pure semolina, durum wheat flour, fresh eggs, and water, mirroring traditional Italian techniques.
Today, while the process is mechanized, the commitment to quality remains unchanged, with ingredients like fresh eggs, pecorino romano cheese, parsley, and premium spices.
Their passion for authentic Italian cuisine, inherited from their roots in Abruzzi and Naples, infuses every dish with love and skill.
Managed by their daughter, Anna Marie, and assisted by their grandson Joseph, Ravioli House offers a diverse array of homemade pastas, embracing endless possibilities.
The Ravioli House isn’t just a restaurant anymore, it’s a family legacy. With generations of patrons returning year after year, it’s a place where cherished memories and traditions thrive. Guests often reminisce about childhood visits, creating a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of family gatherings.
As the restaurant remains true to its roots, it continues to be a place where families come together to celebrate tradition and create new memories.
We wish Teresa and her family the best of luck with the new patio area!
