There are a few new places coming to Cape May that we will be featuring in the coming weeks. In today’s article we will be talking about the new spots coming to Cape May’s Washington Street Mall.

For those who love cheese, there is a new joint coming your way!
Located at the Across The Way shop, please welcome The Cheese Shop!
While there isn’t much information online we found out this is part of Cape Island Foods and will be a “charcuterie and gourmet foods store.”
They are currently hiring a Store Manager and more.
Next on our trip down Cape May’s Washington Street Mall we find ourselves at the old Stewarts Root Beer location.
Just like in Wildwood, Stewarts Root Beer will be leaving us fully. They made the announcement online just after the New Year. If you want to read about it click the link below.
In it’s place is will be a place called, Sunflowers of Cape May.
They currently don’t have any information online, just looking into the door you can see a that all the food equipment has been pushed to the back of the store.
This would lead us to to believe that this will become a retail store rather than a restaurant.
