What’s Going With The Abandoned Islander Family Fun Park?
We have been getting a lot of questions in regards to what is happening to the Islander Family Fun Park.
In hit’s heyday the area next to the Family Fun Park was a trailer park and before that it was a dump. As time moved on the Islander Family Fun Park closed and everyone in the trailer park had moved out. Just recently the radio tower was removed and the land fenced off.
Over the course of the past few weeks we have been seeing trucks move in and out of the area with loads of 10 by 10 pieces of wood.
According to Middle Township, The property owner applied for a deep permit for the building in the back and applied for an electrical permit to put up some light and cameras to stop the illegal dumping.
As of right now there is no immediate plans for the property and all of our guesses on why they are laying down wood is to stop the people from digging down and dumping their stuff.
