Get ready for a fantastic weekend!! Besides the weather shaping up to be the perfect beach day, the famous Wildwood fireworks will be returning for the full summer.
Last year, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Wildwood Fireworks had some major changes. Besides them not starting until deep into the summer, they were moved all the way over to Rio Grand Ave, behind the Wildwoods Sign.
The city had done that so to allow people to spread out more on the beach.
While this was nice for last year, for 2021 they are moving back to their original location at Pine Avenue for the entire summer.
Starting this Friday, June 25th, the FREE Wildwood Firework shows will shoot off every Friday until the end of the summer.
They start at 10 pm and can be seen pretty much throughout the island.
We suggest bringing a beach chair and sit at Pine Ave. the advantage to this is that the fireworks are synced up to the music playing on the boardwalk.
The Fourth of July fireworks will take place on Sunday, July 4th at 10 pm. (and according to the calendar you will also have a Friday night firework show).
On top of this, Wildwood Boardwalk parades will also be making a return.
Parades run Monday through Thursday night and kick-off at 7:30 pm in North Wildwood at 16th and the Boardwalk. (typically ending at the Wildwoods Convention Center.
As a reminder, the rain date for fireworks is on Sundays.
Are you excited to watch the fireworks again?
