Wildwoods Construction Update – April 2023

As summer is inching closer and closer and temperatures are starting to get into the low 70s comma folks are starting to make their way down to the shore.

Businesses on the boardwalk are starting to come out of their winter hibernation and prepare for a busy spring season.

Wildwoods Construction Update – April 2023

For the past several months we have been visiting many construction sites all over the Wildwoods but as we’re getting closer to Memorial Day weekend we are finally starting to see some of these projects get closer to their completion.

One of those projects is the second phase of the Wildwood Boardwalk reconstruction. The project isn’t 100% completed but as of March 31st, the western side of the boardwalk is fully reopened which allows businesses to open their doors for Easter.

The Eastern side of the boardwalk is expected to be completed by mid-April.

Many of the projects we have been following along have been long-term projects. This means that they may have started prior to 2022 and have been carefully moving along toward their summer 2023 opening date.

These projects include things such as the Seaport Suites and 38 dwellings being built on Magnolia and Pacific Avenues. Both of these projects will be completed by Memorial Day Weekend.

Other projects such as the North Shore reconstruction were planned to be completed by May but will now be done closer to the end of June.
