Plane Pulled From Ocean in Cape May

We have an update on the plane crash that took place just off the beach of Cape May.

For those who don’t know, a single engine plane had crashed just off the coast of Cape May a few days ago. At this time the pilot, 58 year old man, still has not been found. You can watch a video of the plane flying just feet over the water, minutes before the crash, by clicking the link below.

Plane Crash at Cape May Point

Today Sea Tow in Cape May, was hired to pull the plane from ocean floor. It was only 18 feet deep and so it was an easy recovery.

In a post online Sea Tow said,

“Yesterday was a sad but very successful day for our crew @ Sea Tow Cape May & Northstar Marine. After an extensive search we were able to recover the plane and the pilot that crashed off of CM Point this week. Our thoughts and prayers are with the pilots family.”

Below are the photos Sea Tow took.
