Summer may be winding down but there are still so many fun events taking place all around the Wildwoods. Below is a short list of what’s going on.
Yoga on the Beach
Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the summer, bring a beach towel and join us on the Wildwood beach behind the Wildwoods Convention Center at Burk Avenue (look for the yellow and black yoga flag) for yoga classes at 9 a.m. $5 per class. 609.636.7184 or [email protected]
Shore Stop Dance Convention
Morey’s Piers is pleased to invite dancers from area studios to perform in our unique and exciting environment. Shore Stop Dance Convention will expose your dancers to the highest level of performance while incorporating technique, team building, discipline, and developing artistic growth. Labor Day Weekend Fireworks Spectacular
Enjoy a special Labor Day Weekend Fireworks Spectacular to end the summer season on the beach at Pine Avenue in Wildwood at 10 p.m. Visible from almost anywhere on the Wildwoods Boardwalk! Downtown Wildwood Farmer’s Market (Last One)
The Downtown Wildwood Farmer’s Market will take place every Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, rain or shine. The market is located at Byrne Plaza, Oak and Pacific Avenues, Wildwood featuring farm fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, homemade baked goods, honey, wine, guacamole, herbs, nuts, organic tea, jams, jellies, jerky, jewelry, soaps, handmade non-food items and more! There will be live music from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., strolling children’s entertainment and a live broadcast from 98.7 The Coast every week. FREE parking is available. Sunrise On Sunday Veteran Flag Service (Last One)
A weekly ceremony every Sunday morning to raise the casket flag of a Veteran to honor and remember ALL Veterans, held at the Lou Booth Amphitheater at 2nd and Ocean Avenues in North Wildwood. Arrive 10 minutes before sunrise to participate in a 20-minute tribute and inspirational message at the most beautiful vista on the Jersey Shore. This location offers photo ops galore! The Flag Raising Ceremony is weather permitting as Veteran Casket Flags are not for all-weather.
