Over the past few weeks we have gotten so many questions about the Rio Grande Gateway Project.
For those who don’t know, the Rio Grande Gateway Project is a 10 million dollar project that will rehab Rio Grande Avenue by raising it 30 inches and create a new pumping system so that it won’t flood anymore. If you want to read about the project click the link below.
The project was scheduled to be completed by summer 2009 but the company who was approved to do the work said that there wouldn’t be enough time to move utilities before the road could be raised. Right now they are pushing along swiftly.
