It’s not everyday that a whole block of the Wildwood Boardwalk is put up for sale.

Back in May a listing for 2002-2024 Boardwalk in North Wildwood was put up for sale.

The listing went on to say;

This stretch of the boardwalk, which is referred to as 20th and the boardwalk, had a starting price of 3,297,000 when it was first listed. It was oringally under contract but then fell through in September. It wasn’t until February 5th that a someone finally purchased the block for 2.9 Million dollars.

According to public records it sold to New Jersey Boardwalk LLC. Currently online there is no information on this LLC besides some bankruptcy records from 2015.

This block of the boardwalk held the Seaport Beach Outlet, 3 Brother’s Pizza, Fractured Prune Donuts and an old Ed’s Funcade.

It was announced yesterday that the Fractured Prune would be moving to a new location at 2102 Boardwalk.

UPDATE – Around 12-noon on February 10th, Ed’s Funcade shined a little light on what would be coming to this location.

In a Facebook post they went on to say; 

“We have been given the opportunity to sell the entire block 20th ave to 21st ave on the Boardwalk to a huge developer. This will further enhance your visits to the boardwalk with great plans in place to make major changes to the huge ocean front property. This development may take a few years, but the outcome will be fantastic for all of us in North Wildwood.”
