Grande Cafe Is Coming to Rio Grande
The Olive Branch, a highly successful restaurant located in the Villas area, has announced that they will be opening another establishment in Rio Grande.
The Olive Branch was opened by the Mallous Family in 2020 and quickly gained popularity due to their delicious food and unique outdoor taverna dining experience.
Grande Cafe Is Coming to Rio Grande
The owners officially announced the new food spot on their Facebook page.
Their post went on to say; From the Owners of The Olive Branch Restaurant (Villas, NJ) and Egg & Dart (Cape May)…. We bringing a fresh new twist to Rio Grande, NJ…. Grande’s Cafe”
Grande’s Cafe will be located at 3167 Route 9 South in Rio Grande.
The new location used to be home to Avalon Coffee, which will be moving to Rio Grande Plaza. This is the same Rio Grande Plaza where Burlington Coat Factory is going.

Avalon Coffee will be taking over the Hallmark store which closed up not too long ago. No opening date has been announced for Avalon Coffee.
Details have’t been released about the menu or specific offerings at Grande’s Cafe have been released, but given the success of The Olive Branch, it is expected to be just as fantastic.
The owners of Grande’s Cafe have set the opening date for March 2023 and crews have been working hard to get the establishment up and running. In the meantime, folks are eager to find out what new taste flavors will be coming to Rio Grande.
