Montego Bay Resort Gets MAJOR Renovation!
For the past few months the Montego Bay Resort has been undergoing a major renovation.
During their 4 month shut down due to COVID, they went to the drawing board to plan for an 25,000 sq ft complete renovation of their building.
Going into this project they had their guest in mind. Their main their main objective was to “recreate the space we had into a fun, elegant and relaxing environment for our guest to be able to enjoy regardless of age!”
In order for them to accomplish this they hired Carrie Locklyn, a professional interior designer who is the designer for Travel Channel’s Hotel Impossible and HGTV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
You may have heard of Carrie before because she has been one of the many reasons why we have had HGTV and Travel Channel in our area!!!
As the owner of Montego Bay said, “Carrie was faced with the challenging task of incorporating a spa like feeling with a touch of the Wildwoods all while taking into consideration the name, Montego Bay and our location, making sure every room was fit for all ages being we are a family resort, and finally making sure that all of the custom-made furniture was durable and easy to clean due to COVID and large groups with extended stay periods.”
Some of the many renovations includes;

14 suites: Deluxe Ocean View Suites ( 2 bedroom / 1-2 bathroom), Jacuzzi Presidential Suites (3 bedroom / 2 bathroom) and Presidential Suites, previously 3 bedroom/2 bathroom now (4 bedroom / 3 bathroom)

Custom furniture, stylish wall art, new bedding, stainless steel appliances, cabinets & counter tops, elegant and fun décor in the 14 renovated suites

Beautiful new carpet and tile in hallways and common areas

Complete replacement of one elevator (new cab, new communication system, new cables, etc.) as well as an interior update on the second elevator

Roof upgrades

Renovated lobby with new custom seating as well as décor
