There is a new food establishment coming to Wildwood Crest this summer! Please welcome the Tangiers Cafeto the island!
Located at 6201 Atlantic Ave, Wildwood Crest, inside the Tangiers Motel, the Tangiers Cafe will be a familiar flavor.
For those who recall, last summer this restaurant was the Aurora Blue Cafe. Prior to this, it was the location of Doo-Wop Coffee Shoppe for many years.
The Doo-Wop Coffee Shoppe became such a hit that they moved to a massive location in the Crest at 6200 New Jersey Ave. They were rebranded as the DooWop Drive Inand offered an amazing menu filled with specials that you could only dream about for breakfast. They are known for their unique and innovative dishes such as Ginger Snap Pancakes, Coconut Caramel Chocolate De-Lite French Toast, Old Fashion Sticky Bun Bacon Egg and Cheese, and more. (yes we are also getting hungry by reading that).
It turns out that the Tangiers Cafe will be ran by the same family who owns the DooWop Drive-In. To clarify, they plan on running both of the establishments this upcoming summer! The Wildwood Crest location isn’t going anywhere! (and that makes us very happy!)
This gives you two chances to try their amazing food.
There aren’t many details at this time but on their Facebook page, they posted a quick video showing us the Tangiers Cafe hanging outside the Tangiers Motel.
