It’s time again for an update on the upcoming snow event that will take place in the Tri-State Area.
The most change we are seeing in this latest update is snow totals and the area of the band of snow.
According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, a period of snow is expected to bring widespread accumulating snowfall to the region tonight through Friday morning with most snow falling between 1 AM and 7 AM.
A narrow band of heavy snow could produce snow rates of up to 2” per hour for a brief period In much of southeastern PA, NJ, and Delmarva.
This band of heavy snow may set up with amounts of up to 6 inches plus. The highest probability for this is from Vineland up to Asbury Park.
The I-95 corridor is looking to get 4 inches of snow while north of that will see 3-4 inches.
Those is Cape May County will see an inch or less of snow.
Those living in by Atlantic Coastal Waters and Lower Delaware Bay will experience Gale force wind gusts up to 40 knots and seas 4-6 feet.
