New Wildwood Brewery To Be Discussed Tonight

Tonight is a very important meeting here in the Wildwoods.

The first Monday of every month the city of Wildwood holds their planning and zoning meeting. Today, December 6th, is the first Monday which means there will be a meeting tonight.

These meetings are open to the public and are held at 6pm at Wildwood’s city hall located at 4400 New Jersey Ave.

It’s these meetings that the public gets their only say on projects that will be shaping our island and community.

After looking up the agenda for this week we see that in “New Business,” Anglesea Aleworks, LLC will be brought up. This is BIG!!

For those who don’t know, about a month ago we broke the story that a new brewery, Anglesea Aleworks, could be coming to the island.

If you would like to read that article click the link below.

New Brewery Coming To Wildwood?

In the article we spoke about an application that was submitted to turn the old Breakers Billiard Club & Bar into a Brewery.

The Breakers Billiard Club & Bar is located in the Island Bowl building, 3401 New Jersey Avenue, in unit 107.

The application only mentions that they would like to change the Zoning Ordinance from a Pool Hall to a Brewery.

Since this project is still in the beginning stages there isn’t much information about what brewery will be put in this spot. All we know is that it’s name is going to be Anglesea Aleworks.

There hasn’t been a sale of the liquor license for this location so it could be possible that it’s a rebranding from when it was the Breakers Billiard Club & Bar.

Stay tuned for an update on this story!
