You know how the saying goes, “what’s old needs to come down so that the new can take it’s place.” I’m not sure if that’s a real saying but I works for the situation I am going to talk to you about.

As you know, there is a ton of construction taking place all over the Wildwoods. We covered most of the construction projects in a video. If you want to watch that click the link below.
Today’s article might be something that people don’t want to hear but sadly it’s happening.
For those who are unaware, the Fairview, 2nd St. Annies and M.T. Bottles are to give way for a new building that will take up the full front of Pacific Ave called “Residences At Pacific.”
In short, this building will consist of a 4-story mixed use high-rise building which will contain 3 units of commercial space on the ground floor, and 74 residential/ Student units.
This building will give a nice facelift to this section of Pacific Ave. Sadly this means that the Fairview, 2nd St. Annies and M.T. Bottles have to go.
Knowing that these clubs have been stables on the island since the 1970s I figured it would be a great idea to do one last tour of them before they are torn down very shortly. (We are told they will start to be torn down within a week at the earliest)
One added note. After this video was filmed we learned that the Stardust and Colleens (old Neil’s) could be torn down to make room for a 96 room hotel. If you want more details on that click the link below.
