Renovations Coming To The North Shore Bar
North Shore Bar located at 301 New York Avenue could be sporting a new look come next summer!
Their parent company, North Shore Bricks, LLC, just submitted an application to the North Wildwood planning and zoning board for a full renovation of the property.
The application goes on to say,
“Applicant seeks approval to complete interior and exterior renovations to the existing structure. The proposed exterior renovations include demolition of the existing second floor and portions of the first floor and construction of a new partially enclosed deck on the second floor. Cosmetic updates to the exterior of the building are also proposed.”
This means that the property will be losing the living quarters upstairs but will gain a new desk area for us patrons.
There is no word on if they will make the entire upstairs, including the side of the building that doesn’t have the rooms, into a deck.
A public hearing has been scheduled for January 12, 2022, beginning at 6:30 P.M. in the Municipal Building, 901 Atlantic Avenue, North Wildwood, New Jersey.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, persons planning to attend this meeting are advised to consult the City’s website (https://north wildwood.com/departments/zoningplanning-board) or contact the Board Secretary at 609-522-2030 x1280 prior to the meeting to confirm the meeting will be held in person or, in the alternative, to obtain instructions to participate electronically via Zoom.
We wish The North Shore Bar the best of luck with its renovations! If this project is approved we will be sure to include it in our monthly construction updates! To check out our last Wildwood construction update click the link below.
