The Wildwoods have received some unexpected news today.
In a Facebook post listed in the group, “Wildwood Crest NJ,” the owner of the Suncrest Market announced his plans to sell the property.
Tom Jones, whose family has run the Suncrest Market, which has been family-owned & operated for 45 years, made the posting around 2pm.
His post goes on to say;
Suncrest Market For Sale – Wildwood Crest

For those who are unaware of the Seacrest Market, it is located at 8507 New Jersey Ave in Wildwood Crest. It has been a staple on the island since it first opened in 1974.
The listing description goes on to say;
“Business opportunity on a double corner lot with spacious second-floor apartment in Wildwood Crest. The downstairs is currently a convenience store with a deli/take-out/ice cream window and has endless potential for your own personal touch. This store is in a great location with outdoor seating and offers plenty of space with a deli area as well as retail space for a convenient corner market. Upstairs is a recently renovated spacious 3 bedroom. 1 bath apartment with an open living space and a beautiful covered deck.”
Its current listing price is $895,000.
We wish the Jones family the best of luck and hope that everything is ok!
What makes this listing so interesting is that it’s down the Street from Rita’s Deli which was also just listed a few weeks back.
You can read about Rita’s by clicking the link below.
PLEASE keep in mind that just because a business is for sale doesn’t mean that it will be torn down to become condos. A new owner could open it as their own!
Stay tune for more details.
