Wildwood’s Honky Tonk Saloon – FIRST LOOK

The Wildwood Video Archive recently got an exclusive first look inside, and let me tell you, it looks amazing.

Situated at 3800 Boardwalk, where Garfield Ave meets the boardwalk, the Wildwood Mall has undergone a massive transformation during the offseason.

Both the interior and exterior have been given a major facelift, promising a fresh and inviting atmosphere for visitors.

Wildwood’s Honky Tonk takes up shop in the basement of the Wildwood Boardwalk Mall.

For the past ten years, the basement housed a few different arcades. But that’s all in the past now.

Over the last few months, the space has been completely renovated and transformed into Wildwood’s very own Honky Tonk Saloon.

Brought to you by the same owners of Capt’n Jack’s Island Grill, you can expect nothing short of excellence.

Crews demolished everything in the basement to make room for a kitchen, two bars, a massive stage with room for dancing, and a games corner.

This team is committed to bringing back the charm of themed establishments to the Wildwoods, a trend that has sadly been on the decline in recent years.

In fact, Wildwood’s Honky Tonk Saloon is just one of two themed bars coming to the island. Across the street, the Point, a Tiki-themed bar (not affiliated with the same group), is also set to open soon, adding to the island’s vibrant nightlife scene.

Inside everything has been themed to the county life including beautifully painted murals painted by Russell Simmons over at Wild Island Marketing.

As you will see in the video,  co-owner Sean Dougherty and his team spared no expense to turn this into the ultimate man or woman cave.

The grand opening of Wildwood’s Honky Tonk Saloon is scheduled for Friday, May 10th, perfectly timed to coincide with a major event happening on the beach right across from them.

With less than two weeks to go, crews are working tirelessly to ensure everything is ready in time for the big day.

The Wildwood Video Archive had the privilege of touring the Saloon on Tuesday, April 30th.
