Cape May Could Go Plastic-less, Should We? [Vote]
If you watch many of our beach videos on on YouTube channel, you will notice one big thing we do before we jump in the water. That once thing is collect three pieces of trash.
Learning how to surf from local Ocean Outfitters, they taught us to respect mother nature and keep her clean. This is one thing that Cape May is going to try to do by going plastic-less.
According to the Cape May Herald, on Oct. 15th the Cape May City Council introduced its single-use plastics ordinance, which will come up for a public hearing and potential adoption at council’s Nov. 18 meeting.
The ordinance would have restaurants and stores ditch foam products, plastic bags and non-recyclable utensils.
My question for you is this, should the Wildwoods join in on this ordinance? Vote below.
